Due to launch on April 25th, SAND LAND is a playful new manga-inspired action RPG created by the distinguished Akira Toriyama.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world of sand, this is no beach destination. Indeed, there are no sand castles to be built here. Instead, SAND LAND is desolate world in which the tyrant King has monopolized the water supply, and the threat of war looms in the distance.
Pushed to breaking point, Sheriff Rao summons a duo of demons to help find a Legendary Spring and attempt to restore peace and justice to the drought-ridden lands. A tall order? Perhaps. Especially when there are so many outlandish enemies to contend with. Fortunately, however, Rao's newfound companions are no ordinary demons. Introducing Prince Beelzebub, and his elderly sidekick Thief. Not necessarily your regular heroes, but brave characters who are sure to put a smile on your face!
Described as a cross between early Dragon Ball, Fallout, and Mad Max, SAND LAND is full of action. As the name suggests, it's also full of sand. (That is, apart from the new Forest biome, which you can check out in the SAND LAND - Forest Land Trailer.)

SAND LAND First Look Impressions Trailer
Before we move on to the first impressions, I have to say, I love the soundtrack to the trailer! It certainly gets you in the mood for some lighthearted, fast-paced action.
And the initial reviews look promising, which is always a good thing! Indeed, intermixed with exhilarating gameplay clips, are the following snippets of praise:

Full of custom armor battles, epic expeditions, and fun yet complex manga-inspired story lines, SAND LAND is an RPG to look out for. It's beautifully animated and the gameplay is enthralling. What else could you ask for?
To sum up, SAND LAND is a fitting tribute to the late Akira Toriyama, a creative genius whose talent lives on through his work.
