Calling all manga fans, SAND LAND is due to launch on April 25th and it's set to take the gaming world by storm! Sand storm!

Created by the legendary Akira Toriyama, SAND LAND transports us to a desert plain tarnished by years of conflict. A world in which humans and demons coexist precariously, and war is always on the horizon. It is against this backdrop that the King decides to monopolize the water supply.

Pushed to breaking point, only Sheriff Rao and his demon recruits can save the day. Fortunately, these aren't just any old demons. Introducing rebellious Prince Beelzebub, and his companion Thief. Together you must explore the realms, liberate the water supply, and bring peace and justice back to the lands. Good luck!

What do you think? A stark contrast to the desert plains within which you'll spend the majority of your time, Forest Land is a brand new biome for the franchise, and one you'll come across in the later stages of the game.

Reminiscent of the Dragon Ball topography, the environment of Forest Land is lush and green. That doesn't make it any less brutal though! Think ferocious crocodiles and a man-eating octopus boss; an abandoned temple, giant fortress, and a kidnapped princess. And that's not to mention the sinister militia intent on getting its hands on the powerful Aquanium! No, Forest Land is no stroll in the park /rain forest.

Fortunately, that's where the tanks come in handy. You see, as well as introducing pastures green, another element unique to SAND LAND is its array of vehicles. We're talking bikes, tanks, hovercrafts, dune buggies, and more. And these aren't just for getting around. Doubling up as offensive machinery, you can customize your mode of transport, not only to look cool, but also to deal maximum damage to the enemy.

Excited? You should be. A cross between Mad Max and Dragon Ball, Bandai Namco assure us that newcomers will be able to dive right into this open-world RPG, without any prior knowledge of the series. Basically, if you like combat-heavy epic action adventures, you'll love SAND LAND.
