SAND LAND - Custom Battle Armor
There's not much dialogue in this one! As discussed above, the characters and plot are central to SAND LAND, but as this latest gameplay trailer shows, ultimately this is an action RPG. No complaints here!
Indeed, the SAND LAND Custom Battle Armor is a USP of the gameplay. It's versatile, and you can customize it to best suit your play style, as well as the dangers that lie ahead.
Basically, you deck out your armor with the abilities of your choice, including various weapons and cannons, then you summon it up when the going gets tough. Like when a pack of carnivorous dinosaurs attack; or you're surrounded by large sumo-esque wrestlers with hearts on their overalls, for example.
The battles become winnable when inside such a monstrous mech, meaning you won't die straight away, but they're far from a stroll in the park. Of course they're not, where would be the fun in that.
To sum up, SAND LAND is about characters and relationship building, as you bring together exiled peoples to overthrow tyranny, but it's also about unlocking cool vehicles and engaging in ferocious battles.
