It's almost hard to believe it, but Bethesda Game Studios' next big thing - Starfield - is due to come out early next month, on September 6! For those who splurge on 2Game's special Starfield pre-order offerings, however, there's early access in the picture too. If you're anything like us, then you're positively thrilled to jump into the next Morrowind, Oblivion, or Skyrim, and the opportunity to leap into the zeitgeist is not one to miss out on.
2023 has been a ridiculously fruitful year for gaming, of course. From Hogwarts Legacy to Resident Evil 4 and, yes, Starfield (and beyond!), 2023 has treated us to some of the very best experiences the industry's ever had to offer. If Bethesda plays its cards right, Starfield may well end up being the crowning achievement of 2023, however. That's a heck of an opportunity right there, and the fact that the reviewers have been cheekily positive about the whole thing is exceedingly telling, too.

2Game's Best Starfield Pre-Order Offers for PC
Official PC Availability & Release Times
Starfield is coming out on PC and the Xbox Series consoles - both S and X - on September 5/6, 2023, depending on your time zone. You'll find some of the most common time zones listed below:

- 09:00 JST

That's a lot of time zones, yes, but we expect that there's gonna be a lot of us jumping into the game on day one. The other big thing worth highlighting here is that there's a way to play Starfield early. And a fair bit earlier than September 6, at that. It does include splurging a bit more, granted, but as promised: 2Game has got some lovely discounts in place, too. Both for the base game and for the Digital Premium edition, depending on how hyped you are to play the darned thing!

Regular Starfield Pre-Order
Pre-ordering the regular edition of Starfield for PC via 2Game nets you a lovely 5% off your base purchase and a set of Old Mars-themed skins for some of your gear. These goodies pale when compared to the totality of a brand new Bethesda Game Studios single-player RPG, of course, but they're a great way to spice things up on day one of the game's release. Digital Premium Edition of Starfield Pre-Order

The bottom line, as it were, is that Starfield is exceedingly likely to be remarkably CPU-heavy. A potential worry for Steam Deck gamers, we believe, but only time will tell how Bethesda's now flagship will perform on all manner of modern (and ancient!) hardware.
