It's the end of a particularly long week, and it just so happens that we've caught the Football Fever here at 2Game. Talk about perfect timing for some weekend relaxation, eh? Today we'd like to take a step back from all the excitement surrounding the ongoing E3 festivities and tell you about some PC games that are already out. Namely, football PC games.

Whether you're a fan of FIFA, PES, or Football Manager, we've got all your football gaming needs covered with our awesome Football Fever sale. Some of the discounts we've got in place are historically the lowest ever, so if you've been waiting for a good deal to come around, let's just say that it's almost high noon for you.

Down below, we've prepared a highlight and an overview of the four games featured as part of our Football Fever sale. So, if you're up for some badass digital footy over the weekend - scroll on ahead!

Football Fever Sale - Get Your Deals & Discounts Today!

Football Manager 2021 - 55% discount

The obvious first choice for anybody that's more interested in the sheer strategy and, in a way, meta-gaming of football, Football Manager 2021 is without a doubt the absolute pinnacle of this niche. It's a bit of a tradition for 2Game to periodically support and sponsor dedicated Football Manager tournaments on Twitch, fostering the incredible community surrounding this franchise as best we can.

Much like most other football games, FM, too, comes out pretty much on a yearly/seasonal basis, but 2021 remains an incredibly competent and enticing deal, even today. With no further announcements on the radar, and with a whopping 55% off - now's probably the time to splurge.

It's also worth pointing out that Football Manager's smaller cousin, Football Manager Touch, is also at 55% off! Find both of these games using the links below.

FIFA 21 - 67% discount

When it comes to a more direct and immediate rendition of our football fever sale, things are a bit more hectic. After all, there are two major franchises competing for attention here, the first of which is FIFA and its 21st release of the century. Bet you never heard it framed like that before?

FIFA 21 has been a solid offering from the very start, and for those who were specifically out to get something entirely new, it was the game to get for action-oriented football gameplay. EA's Sports division has successfully captured the sweaty and frenetic action of a football field in 21's core gameplay loop, and packed a veritable wealth of content along with it.

Though all the improvements that FIFA 21 received over its direct predecessor have been great, the game's VOLTA street football mode still feels a bit like an afterthought in this context. If you're not a huge fan of that particular niche, though, this is an easy choice for you to make!

eFootball PES 2021 Season Update - 75% discount

For its 2021 edition, Namco Bandai's Pro Evolution Soccer has taken a wildly different turn compared to its direct competitor. Namely, instead of releasing an entirely new game which, for all intents and purposes, didn't make that much sense due to the ongoing pandemic and a lack of football-related developments, eFootball PES 2021 delivered a - you've guessed it - Season Update.

To be sure, PES 2021 still comes with huge improvements to visuals, physics, and gameplay. It's just that the content didn't change that much from its 2020 predecessor. Not a big deal for fans, though, as PES 2021 came in at a significantly lower price point, increasing its competitiveness in the sports gaming category.

Overall, we were pretty big fans of what Bandai Namco has done with the game for 2021. What mattered the most was that they deliver something new. At that point in time, an update to the previous title made the most sense, all things considered, and Bandai Namco proved that they're up to the task.

We Are Football - 15% discount

Finally, we've got the most experimental football game on this list - We Are Football. Interestingly, it kind-of, sort-of covers the same niche as the long-lost Lords of Football title, which made its way onto our monthly Weird Old PC Games overview back in May. Thankfully, though, We Are Football is a far more coherent experience than anything that came before it.

Since this is THQ Nordic's first major foray into the soccer management sub-genre- where Football Manager reigns supreme - some growing pains are sure to be expected. Generally speaking, We Are Football is a fair bit simpler and more lightweight, and the fact that THQ had to forego official real-world licensing didn't help their case, either. Refreshingly, though, We Are Football stretches its wings into areas previously left unexplored.

Women's football, for one, is on the menu here, which is sadly pretty unprecedented. There's the inclusion of less-than-fair match tactics, too. Players can choose to actively disrupt the opposing team in a variety of ways. Think streakers, power outages, stuff like that. We Are Football genuinely adds something to the genre. Its only real problem is, honestly, the overall lack of polish and development legacy. If you need a change of pace, though, this is the game to snag today.

Wrap-Up

For those who aren't generally in the know when it comes to industry developments, we're smack-dab in the middle of one of the most exciting E3s of all time. Just yesterday, we got treated to the amazingly awesome Battlefield 2042 reveal, and then there's the fact that From Software's long-anticipated Elden Ring has finally received a proper gameplay trailer!

This is all barely scratching the surface, mind. We'll have more updates for you over the weekend, but in the meantime, go ahead and kick back with the very best PC football games available on the market. Football Fever's not letting up!
